The no-nonsense work shirt from T-Stitch returns in a richly textured sashiko finish that looks better the more you beat it up. Thanks to The Utility Shirt's tough-as-nails build, this one will be picking up character long after lesser shirts are headed for the landfill.

The Utility Shirt is crafted from 100% organic cotton in a high-texture sashiko weave. Over time, the pronounced peaks and valleys of this finish will yield incredible character, softening and developing nuance with each wash and wear. A natural feature of indigo products is “crocking,” where the dye can rub off on light-colored clothing and upholstery. Be mindful, wear often, and wash when needed.

How to Measure

Chest

Lay your sweater flat on a hard surface. Measure across the chest area about an inch down from the underarm seam, and double that for the full chest measurement.

Length

Measure straight down the back of the sweater, from the center of the neck seam to the bottom of the hem.

Sleeve Length

Measure from the top of the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve. Next, measure from the center back of the neck seam to the shoulder seam. Add these two values to get your sleeve measurements.
